Nze Ben Azunna hails from Obinze, in Owerri west Local Government Area of Imo State. He is one of the Igbo thought Leaders in the Dallas Fort-Worth (DFW) metroplex in Texas USA and has been a strong voice when it comes to championing Owerri matters, and Igbo course in general. Prior to his position as president, Nze Ben has served WOPC in various capacity including Auditor, BOD Member; WOPC Benefit Program Chairman and former president of Nzuko Umu Owerri Dallas Fort Worth TX. His mission is to restore the lost glory of WOPC and create an environment that is very welcoming, that will attract more membership and encourage chapter building. Professionally, Ben is a business advisory leader around Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) with over 25 years of consulting experience in Internal Controls, Financials Systems selection/Implementation, and Information Technology Security Audits. He has developed expertise in Tax matters and has earned the prestigious ‘Enrolled Agent’ designation, which grants him unrestricted rights to represent US taxpayers before the United States Internal Revenue Service. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and MBA with emphasis in Finance; alongside various industry/global certifications. At leisure, Ben likes spending time with his lovely wife, Lolo Amy Azunna and four blessed children. He enjoys dancing to bongo music over a plate of Ugba (no palm wine).

Dr. Mrs. Sylva Alozie hails from Ubah Mbaoma (Emii) in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria. She resides in Fresno Texas with her husband, Nze Emmanuel Alozie and their three blessed children. As a businesswoman, Dr. Alozie is an accomplished business leader in the Houston area of Texas. Professionally, she has over 23 years’ experience in nursing care services and has attained the Advanced Nurse Practitioner designation. Prior to her position as WOPC Vice President, Dr Sylva has served as Vice President of Owerri People's Congress Women's wing Sugarland; Vice President- Owerri Women’s Association (OWA) and Former Board Member- Houston Association of Nigerian Nurse Practitioners (HANNPA). She has a Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Her vision for WOPC is to increase the executives’ performance level by assisting the President to realize the goals and objectives of the organization as stipulated in its formation documents. In addition, to throw more insight into the process of raising funds and to use those funds on programs that work while exploring other areas of new challenges for WOPC than the routine functions of leadership.

Mrs. Mercy Ogwude Hails from Ibuzo Village Dindi Autonomous Community in Ihiagwa Owerri West LGA of Imo State. She lives in Houston, Texas with her husband Hon. Michael Ogwude and their five blessed children. Professionally, Mercy is in her early career in Healthcare Management managing a self-enterprise. She has served various nonprofit organizations as general secretary including Owerri People's Congress Women's wing Sugarland; Umuowere Houston Association; Otu Ifedinma Club and Ogwashi uku Association Houston Chapter. Her vision for WOPC is to improve and build on operations within the Secretariat thereby making WOPC operations smooth, timely and efficient. She is dedicated to serving members fairly and equally while being a good Ambassador of the organization. She likes cooking. Dancing and traveling.

Original native of Nekede in Owerri West local government of Imo state and Lolo to Chief Ben Ejike Aharanwa. She currently reside in Hurst Dallas area of Texas with her mom and her four beautiful children. In addition to being WOPC Treasury, she is also serving as PRO of Egbu Girls Secondary School Alumni North America; and a staunch Member of Nzuko Umu Owerri DFW TX, Nigerian Pharmacist Association and Texas Pharmacist Association Professionally, She is a mother for 36 years, wife for 37 yrs, and a clinical pharmacist for 23 yrs. Dr. Augusta holds both Pharm D. & MBA. The founder and Pharmacist in Charge of PrimeCare pharmacy in Arlington Texas. Her vision is to work with the executive body to ‘sow and grow’ our capital investment in our great organization WOPC. She desire to use her collective experiences to serve the Owerri people in the capacity of the Treasurer.

Dr Mrs Adina Ekwerike is from Ubowalla Emekuku in Owerri north LGA Imo State. Married to Professor Onyegbula Denis Ekwerike and blessed with three adult children. She is a member of the knight of Peter ClaverAuxillary, 3rd degree, a founding member of Owerri Obinwanne Association of Delaware Valley where she served as general secretary and financial secretary. Professionally, Dr Adina has over 35 years of experience in public health and presently works with the city of Philadelphia as a health program Director managing over $12m budget. Has served on the BOD at Drexel University school of public health. She holds a PhD in public administration and a master’s degree in public health. Her vision for WOPC is to ensure that every member/chapter meets their financial obligations. Ensure proper collection and tracking of WOPC funds and keeps accurate record of accounts. Outside WOPC, Dr Adina has published articles and has received 2019 women of influence award from FunTimes magazine.

Dr. Rachel Iheanacho is from Naze, Imo State, by way of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Prior to her position as WOPC Director of Communication, Rachel serves as WOPC Asst. Financial Secretary; General Secretary of Naze Progressive Association (NPA) and Pre-College Initiative Chair of National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Chapter in Baton Rouge. Professionally, she holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and has had over 10 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering before pursuing a career in education. Currently hold both a master’s and doctorate degree in education leadership. Dr. Rachel takes great pride in her culture and is passionate about moving WOPC forward by leveraging the talents of Owerri young professionals in the diaspora. She intends to focus on strengthening relationships with similar professional organizations and sharply increasing membership–more specifically, young professional membership.
